Rules & Regulations

ADMISSION, TRANSFER AND WITHDRAWALS:

  1. Applications for admission shall be made in prescribed form duly filled in.
  2. Decision of the head of the institution in the matter of admission is final.
  • A photo copy of Birth Certificate shall be submitted along with Admission form. The original Birth Certificate & School leaving Certificate (in case of class V) are to be produced at the time of admission. Any change in the Name or Date of Birth will not be permitted later on.
  1. A student of class IV of Panchasayar sishu Niketan after getting promotion and seeking enrolment in class -V at Panchasayar Siksha Niketan will have to submit an application in the prescribed form afresh,
  2. A transfer Certificate in Original is required to be furnished in case admission to classes, VI To VIII.
  3. Before withdrawing a student from school, one month’s notice in writing is to be given by the guardian concerned. No transfer Certificate shall be issued unless all dues payable to the school are cleared. A fee of 50/- shall be charged for obtaining the Transfer certificate.
  • A student who fails twice in annual examinations consecutively shall have to take transfer from school.
  • If a student fails to secure promotion to next higher class, guardians may please inform in writing within 15 days from the date of publication of results, regarding the ward’s continuance in the school. If such information is not provided to the school within the aforesaid time, the student will be deemed to be continuing in the school. If sometime thereafter he/she seeks transfer, the school will charge tuition fees for the period till his/her name continues to be on the roll.

    Examination and promotion: 

    Marks obtained in Summative Evaluations and Formative Evaluations will be taken into account towards evaluation of the Final results.
  1. A student missing or skipping an examination shall not be allowed to sit for the same at a later date.
  • A minimum attendance of 75 percent will be required for a student to sit for the Annual examination.
  1. A minimum of 36 percent obtained each subject will qualify a student to secure promotion to the next higher class.

    Absence:
    Student having been absent in classes shall submit a report from their guardians putting in the reason in brief in the Regularity Record pages of the Report Book failing which absentee student shall not be allowed to attend classes.
  1. Students have been absents for 3 consecutive days shall not be allowed to attend classes unless a letter from parents/guardians stating reasons for such absence is submitted.
  • A medical Certificate should be submitted along with a leave application on being absent for more than 7 days on medical grounds.
  1. Name of the student from the institution for 3 consecutive months shall be struck off the rolls.
  2. Practice of taking leave for preparation before examination should be stopped and any such unauthorised absence shall be dealt with firmly. 

    School Fees:

The school is to meet all the expenses from fees collected from the students. The management, therefore, reserves the right to enhance fees from time to time.

  1. Details of charges and school fees for the current session are have been mentioned on fees details page.
  2. Fees must be paid on monthly basis from the 5th to 20th of each month). If the fees as stated above are not paid within the due date, a fine of 20/- will be charged for every month of default.

    *A fine of 100/- will be charged if the cheque is dishonoured in any case.
  • If a fee book is lost, a fresh fee book will be issued on payment of Rs. 50/- only.
  1. In the event of default for three consecutive months, the name of the defaulter shall be struck off the rolls requiring his/her readmission to the school.
  2. Fees for the month of January and February are to be paid before admission for enrolment. Fees for the two consecutive months be it sept-oct. or oct-nov. are to be paid prior to the puja vacation, Fees for months of November and December is to be paid by 15th of December so that the students may get the annual Examination result without any hindrance.
 

Discipline:
Students must reach school before General Assembly starts. Late arrival will not be considered except in special cases, discretion of the Head of the institution only.

  1. Any action that causes damage of the the property of school by the students will be regarded as finable offences.
  2. Student will not be allowed:
  1. To leave school during school hours unless parents request the Head of the Institution personally. Otherwise prior permission should be granted.
  2. To attend school without uniform.
  3. To include juicy fruits, eggs, in their tiffin.
  4. To bring valuable articles, ornaments, cell phones, iPads etc. into the school and;
  5. To use hard or aluminium box (plastic or cotton bag preferred) to carry books and prescribed exercise books.
  1. Parents/guardians may lodge complaints, if any, to the Head of the institution only and none else.
  2. Parents/guardians may meet a teacher after 3 p.m. in working days on prior appointment.

Monogram/Identity card:
Each student shall be supplied with Monogram and an Identity card.
A student should wear the monogram with the uniform and bring a handkerchief regularly.

  • A passport size photo of the student should be affixed on the space provided in the Identity card.
  • A student shall be allowed to be taken out after school hours only on production of the Identity card at the gate.
